At some point in college, it seemed like my girlfriends and I all owned camcorders. Ahhh…the memories we recorded: ice block sliding (ummm…I WAS in College Station); urban snowboarding, urban kayaking, urban skiing, and just about every other “urban” sport imaginable; numerous roommate indiscretions; bizarre redneck neighbors practicing their lasso and whipping skills (I kid you not); harassing ducks (mean little suckers); extreme Razor scooter; innumerable hours of footage of the SKY Vodka tower created from the empty bottles used to make the SKY Vodka aquarium (My apologies, Jeffy, Now you really know what happened to all the fish!) and what will forever be known as “The Santaland Incident.” In my numerous moves since graduation, the videos have been misplaced, but the memories still remain…regardless, not a single one can hold a candle to the shock value provided from the moments captures by the “Jackass” boys.

Ladies and gentlemen, they are at it again!

In a move that can be described as both disturbingly funny and morally reprehensible, Knoxville and his troupe of lost boys make a return to the big screen for a world wide tour showcasing the things that they do best…namely, physically punishing one another, eating things that should never be considered edible, and unleashing carefully constructed mayhem on foreign soil (and we thought that the global opinion of Americans was poor beforehand).

As far as sequels go, this one is a winner. Very rarely do you come across a sequel that is funnier than the original. This one is- I PROMISE! With that said, if you’ve seen the original, or any episodes of the television series for that matter, and did not find them to be humorous than YOU WILL NOT ENJOY THIS MOVIE! I know folks, that seems fairly self explanatory, but I just wanted to put it out there so you couldn’t say that I didn’t warn you.

This is a movie that lacks plot structure, contains little production value, and necessitates absolutely no character development (it’s just boys being boys), which means you only have one thing to focus on- entertainment value. When considering this movie, ask yourself one question… “Do I enjoy random skits, physical gags, and toilet humor?” If the answer is yes, then you are in luck…just be sure to check your sense of moral value at the door.

Knoxville and his boys have seen the wisdom (read as wisdom=profitability) in recording all of their moments of pure insanity. You have to wonder what these guys are going to tell their children about these “mild” moments of tactlessness.

Come to think of it…I might want to look into the location of that “Santaland” video!
