Ladies and gentlemen, they are at it again! In a move that can be described as both disturbingly funny and morally reprehensible, Knoxville and his troupe of lost boys make a return to the big screen for a world wide tour showcasing the things that they do best…namely, physically punishing one another, eating things that should never be considered edible, and unleashing carefully constructed mayhem on foreign soil (and we thought that the global opinion of Americans was poor beforehand). As far as sequels go, this one is a winner. Very rarely do you come across a sequel that is funnier than the original. This one is- I PROMISE! With that said, if you’ve seen the original, or any episodes of the television series for that matter, and did not find them to be humorous than YOU WILL NOT ENJOY THIS MOVIE! I know folks, that seems fairly self explanatory, but I just wanted to put it out there so you couldn’t say that I didn’t warn you. This is a movie that lacks plot structure, contains little production value, and necessitates absolutely no character development (it’s just boys being boys), which means you only have one thing to focus on- entertainment value. When considering this movie, ask yourself one question… “Do I enjoy random skits, physical gags, and toilet humor?” If the answer is yes, then you are in luck…just be sure to check your sense of moral value at the door. Knoxville and his boys have seen the wisdom (read as wisdom=profitability) in recording all of their moments of pure insanity. You have to wonder what these guys are going to tell their children about these “mild” moments of tactlessness. Come to think of it…I might want to look into the location of that “Santaland” video!
